First, macOS Big Sur 11.3 or later is required to connect the DualSense that comes with the PS5 via Bluetooth. DUALSHOCK 4 can also be connected. On the other hand, in Windows 10, neither DualSense nor DUALSHOCK 4 can be connected wirelessly with Bluetooth [* 1], and will be wired with a USB Type-C cable.

On the other hand, when using a wired connection with a USB Type-C cable, regardless of the OS version of Windows or macOS, it will be recognized simply by connecting the cable. If the Bluetooth connection doesn't work, try a wired connection.
