As some audio recording enthusiasts argue that the good old days of analog tape are not replaced by digital products with random access, "warmth", which is now in digital in modern times. It is said that many musicians are partially mastered in analog.

The new product is a limited edition specially designed, assuming that it will be used in the cassette recorder of the Portastudio series of TASCAM.To commemorate the 50th anniversary of TASCAM, it was also developed as a tribute to abundant heritage.

TASCAM and TEAC manufactured the world's first portable home studio 144 Portastudio, which integrates a mixer and multi -truck recorder in 1979, and many musicians used it.Since then, a new Portastudio product has been launched, and inexpensive Type II high -bias cassettes have been used, but it is difficult to obtain cassette today. Therefore, it has been introduced to the Tascam 424.

TASCAM 424 was developed in collaboration with high -quality cassette tape maker National Audio Company in Springfield, Missouri.Using conventional injection molding and 3D printing, a shell assembled by hand is used.In 1980, the miniature gold reel reproduced the original TEAC shell. The cassette package is described as "Tascam 424 Studio Master C-60" and is suitable for collector's items.

By the way, as of 2021, the reason for Portastudio is that as of 2021, it has been approached by Portastudio's originally assumed cassette and matches recording bias and equalization settings.
