 The advantage of using this is that MFM can be used.Using SMF as a wiring in the data center or in the rack is technically possible, but the price is strict.Therefore, in order to respond to the voice of the Ethernet standard of 40 to 100 Gbps, which can use inexpensive MMF, the SWDM Alliance was formed to formulate MMF -compatible standards using SWDM.
