EMOBILE releases "Pocket WiFi (GP01)" with a maximum downlink speed of 21 Mbps
On March 4, EMOBILE released "Pocket WiFi (GP01)" (made by Huawei), which supports a maximum downlink speed of 21 Mbps and a maximum uplink speed of 5.8 Mbps, as a new model of the mobile Wi-Fi router "Pocket WiFi" series. Announced that it will be released on the same day. Reservations will be accepted on some sales channels from March 4th. The price is 39,580 yen for the basic contract and 5,980 yen for the Ninen M contract.
Pocket WiFi (GP01) is a high-end model of the "Pocket WiFi (D25HW)" on sale. While maintaining the compact and lightweight body of Pocket WiFi, the downlink communication speed has been increased from a maximum of 7.2 Mbps to a maximum of 21 Mbps. The continuous standby time is about 300 hours, which is three times that of Pocket WiFi, and the supported external memory has been expanded from a maximum of 16 GB to a maximum of 32 GB. In addition to reducing the number of side keys to simplify the operation, a wireless LAN security method display has been added to the display. Up to 5 Wi-Fi compatible devices can be connected.
To commemorate the release of Pocket WiFi (GP01), EMOBILE will also carry out a campaign to present a large-capacity battery pack when contracting for Pocket WiFi (GP01) during the reception period.
